The Washington Union High School Boys Soccer team defeated the Mission Oak High School boys team, 2-1, during sudden death to win the Division III Valley title. Alejandro Espindola scored the winning goal from 17 yards out as the team was determined not to have the match come down to penalty kicks. The team hopes to continue their success with a bid for the state title.
